Our Story

How Charles Katz Insurance Got Its Start

In 1990, Charles Katz opened the doors to his independent insurance agency with one goal in mind: Treat every client like a neighbor, not a number. He believed that insurance didn't have to be confusing or impersonal. From a small office in Pleasanton, he built relationships one policy at a time. That commitment to personal service became the foundation of everything we do.


Today, Charles's son Aaron serves as Executive Vice President, carrying forward the family tradition of putting clients first. Our team has grown, but our approach hasn't changed. We still answer our own phones. We still take time to explain your options. And we still believe that the best insurance decisions come from honest conversations, not sales pitches.
